May is fundraising month and Mentoring International requests your support. Mentoring International is a Project Osmosis Education Mentoring Initiative to encourage creative young people from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to participate in cultural exchange. We promote innovative thinking, assist students to look beyond their shores for inspiration, and broaden their perspectives, as we “Attend to It”, with emphasis on ‘ten’ ($10) dollar increments.
This program offers young people an opportunity to explore new environments, career interests, and prepares them to be eco-conscious designers of the future – who can service the great demand in the global economy. We believe that our youth are creators of their own destiny. It’s important they know dreams do come true, self-expression matters and bolsters confidence, and communities are strengthened through their talents and efforts for global solutions.
Mentoring International is the fabric by which culture, talent and human interest are combined.
Your contribution supports Internships, Scholarships, Work Exchange, Youth Forums, Volunteers, Travel and Accommodations. Our programs empower students to forge relationships, develop greater understanding, and build strategic alliances through education, mentoring, career exploration, training and development. Gain knowledge and value diverse perspectives which contribute to world culture and commerce.
Mentoring International 2009 program highlights include” Tapping the Hidden Treasure”, a cross-cultural exchange: To be announced; June, 2009 An International Internship, a Historical Research Project and culture exchange.
